Your business data, handled properly.
Your quotes, contracts, invoices and client records are the working memory of your business. Where they live depends on how you run SimpliSuite — on your own server, or hosted by us. Here is what that means for who can reach them, how they are backed up, and how you get them out. If anything is unclear, ask us and we will answer plainly.
The short version
No jargon, no certification badges we have not earned.
Your data, where you choose
Host SimpliSuite yourself and your data stays on your own server or computer — it is never sent to us. If we host it for you, it is held on UK servers that we manage, and traffic to and from your system is encrypted with TLS.
Backups
If we host your system, we back it up and handle restores for you. If you host it yourself, backups are in your hands — and we can set them up for you if you would like help.
Data processing agreement
If we host or support your system, a written data processing agreement is available on request, setting out what we do with your data as your processor under UK GDPR. If you host it yourself, we do not process your data at all.
Your data is exportable
You can export your clients, quotes, invoices and records at any time, in standard formats, whichever way you run SimpliSuite. It is your data. If we host it, there is no exit fee and we will help you move it.
Two-factor authentication
Two-factor authentication is available on every account, and passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. If you want help turning it on for your team, we will walk you through it.
Access is limited and named
If we host or support your system, only named MWN Digital staff can access it, and only to run, support or restore it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train anything.
Your money never passes through us
Card payments and Direct Debit run through your own Stripe and GoCardless accounts, connected to your system. Your customers pay you directly, into your account, on your terms. We never hold your funds and we do not take a cut of them.
Card details are handled by Stripe, never stored by us
Payouts go straight to your own bank account
You keep your own payment provider relationship and fees
If you leave, your payment accounts stay yours
